In 2028, Bourges will be the European Capital of Culture
Since 2001, Charlie II has been installed at Place de la Gare in Bourges
In 1986, on the roundabout in front of the famous “Maison de la Culture”, Charlie was inaugurated by the Mayor Jacques Rimbault
The Maison de la Culture intersection was redesigned in 1999, and Mr. Pelletier decided to place Charlie in front of the train station: from then on, Charlie II would welcome passengers.

The new electronics were designed by Xavier Delahodde in anticipation of future LED bulbs. Charlie II will start with standard 60W incandescent bulbs and Windows 98.

Friends who wish me well have suggested that, while rewriting Charlie’s scores, I start from scratch with free software: Python + Linux + Raspberry Pi… and forget about Windows.
That’s what I’m doing this year: I’m composing a new software and score for the Charlie of 2028.
